A FINAL STOP IN LOUISIANA

THURSDAY

TRAVEL DAY
STOP #195

Not a lot to share this week. We kind of took it easy all week, got some work done and made a few camping reservations for this fall season. There were washers and dryers at the bathrooms here, so we took advantage and did one load of laundry to get by for another week, maybe?

I only left the campground once this week to go fill up the gas tank on ROVER and grab a pizza at the same gas station. We've been seeing the signs for Hunt Brothers Pizza at a lot of gas stations and finally decided to give it a try.

It wasn't half bad! It's not our new favorite, but it'll do in a pinch. They're big selling point is that all toppings are free. With four different meats, and six different veggies, you can mix and match to your heart's desire. They also offer a Breakfst Pizza with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and cheese. Maybe we'll try that some day.

I know this is all kind of boring to read, but we promise, starting with the next stop
our sightseeing and photo sharing will be worth a visit.

HERE IS A HINT ABOUT OUR NEXT STOP

We will be visiting our 13th National Monument and
fans of the HGTV show FixerUpper will know exactly where we are.

Our waterfront campsite here at South Toldeo Bend State Park, LA

The view from our deck to the boat dock/fishing pier at the water's edge.

Some campsites only have a fishing pier because the water depths are lower.
