HAPPY THANKSGIVING! (2022)

Tricia and I are hoping everyone is enjoying their Thanksgiving Day with family or friends.

We met another Airstream couple who pulled into the campground yesterday and have been invited over to their campsite tonight for a campfire, so we too will be sharing Thanksgiving with our NEW friends.

They had originally planned for family to meet them here, but one of them isn't feeling well and they've decided to err on the side of caution and not make the trip.

We'll be glad to spend the evening getting to know them better! It's one of the things we enjoy about this nomadic lifestyle, always meeting and making NEW friends!

"Thanksgiving Day is a national holiday celebrated on various dates in Canada, the United States, some of the Caribbean islands, and Liberia. It began as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year. Similarly named festival holidays occur in Germany and Japan. Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday of October in Canada and on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States, and around the same part of the year in other places. Although Thanksgiving has historical roots in religious and cultural traditions, it has long been celebrated as a secular holiday as well."
